This is a right to hire opportunity - No 3rd parties Job Title QA Manager Location Northern NJ Job Type Contract to Hire Duration 6 months + to Conversion Perform Role of Test Management Office ( TMO ) Lead Approve Testing Strategy Plan Assess Test demand Confirm resourcing needs, SoW Management, Billing Facilitate communication with the GPMO Business Team(s) Provide Change Request Approval QA sign-off Monitor critical success factor and KPIs Drive continuous improvement Manage QA Delivery Accountability (Portfolio Level) Ensure adherence to GPLC Process Model Review and Monitor the performance of Onsite track leads Responsible to implement strategy and vision set by QA Director Accountable for QA status reporting Be a champion for ensuring quality within all ITS Global productsapplications Identify and report issues related to quality Convene cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address quality issues Manage resolution of issues Work closely effectively with other internal teams (i.e. .ITS USQA, ITS Global, External vendorspartners, countryregional QA contacts etc.) Build vendor relationships Sustain effective relationships with off-shore vendors, perhaps including travel to India to work with the off-shore testing team face-to-face to build trust and strong working relationships Lead regular meetings to ensure the resources working remotely feel part of the program and are working well with the on-shore team members Manage QA testing for multiple projectsproducts concurrently QA Team Management 1. SharePoint Technical Understanding a. Ability to understandforesee risks in custom code designsolution which could impact future scalability or enhancements and flag them at the designdevelopment stage (before QA). b. Ability to determine test plan and test areas based upon the solution design andor code components. c. Ability to understand the interaction between various components and packages and determine test scope or key areas accordingly. Manage multiple teams of Quality Assurance Professionals (includes consultants, onsiteoffsiteoffshore) Define goals for the team conduct personal management of the team Recruit and develop qualified professionals Establish standards of measure for the performance of the team Coordinate the allocation of QA resources across multiple projects Project Management Provide senior management with regular updates of testing status Work closely with Business QA resources and all other pertinent project team resources Consult with project team to define and implement quality goals Provide clear deliverables to ensure the execution of best practices within all projects Manage defect tracking process, defect reporting, and dissemination of QA information Understand the business impact (technicalnon-technical) to member firmsend-users and ensure testing addresses those impacts Manage ongoing processes to achieve high quality products, including but not limited to the following User acceptance testing Country testing Business testing Functional, installer, and regression testing Specify information required from users to determine application effectiveness Performance testing Defect reporting Thorough documentation (i.e. test scripts, test plans, test results) Manage the QA budget and ensure QA projects are operating efficiently Identify ways to perform testing at lower costs without sacrificing quality Manage testing tools used in the testing process Design and implement the use of enterprise Test Management Systems such as Client Quality Center or VSTS Ensure all project team members (business analysts, developers and testers) understand the product and how to use it appropriately on the project Skills Seven to ten years experience in ISIT. At least five years experience in quality assurance. Minimum two years experience in automated testing tools (e.g. UFT, Selenium) Good understanding of a professional services organization Solid understanding of quality control best practices, automated testing software, and defect tracking software (i.e. Client Quality Center). Understanding of testing mobile applications On-Site presence 5 days a week, if required weekend or WFH Resource required to be on the project for 6 months (should not move jobs frequently) Ability to travel to India if needed Seven to ten years experience in ISIT. At least five years experience in quality assurance. Minimum two years experience in automated testing tools (e.g. UFT, Selenium) Good understanding of a professional services organization Solid understanding of quality control best practices, automated testing software, and defect tracking software (i.e. Client Quality Center).
